No broken leg here on the Skink. It's either more comfortable this way or it's trying to get more heat form the log for digesting a good meal.
Same place as last year This rat snake has claimed the tree for it's own.

This Grackle doesn't quite know it's place it dives like a bird of prey and then spend some time pretending to be a wading bird.
I couldn't quite get a good clear image of this little gator on the lily pad. Maybe next time
Same problem getting a clear shot of with this juvenile broad banded water snake. I guess neither would be around long if they were sunning out in the open at this size they are as much prey as predator.
This Broad Banded water snake seems to be enjoying the warm sun this late morning.
The only wildflower images of the trip.
Not quite sure if this make the wildflower list or nuisance flower list.
